Text
To be eligible for grants-in-aid under this act, local community organizations shall be organizations which are nonprofit charitable agencies operating community based group boarding homes for children and youth or providing community based services for children and youth under public or private auspices (excluding public schools), and serving eligible children and youth without regard to race, religion, or color, or national origin. In the case of boarding homes, to be eligible hereunder, any such organization shall be licensed in accordance with the provisions of article 5 of chapter 65 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated.
