§ 20-3021 — Docket fee when filing an appeal; waiver; disbursement

(a)(1) On and after July 1, 2014, any party filing an appeal with the court of appeals shall pay a fee in the amount of $145 to the clerk of the supreme court.
(2)On and after July 1, 2014, any party filing an appeal with the supreme court shall pay a fee in the amount of $145 to the clerk of the supreme court.
(b)A poverty affidavit may be filed in lieu of a fee as established in K.S.A. 60-2001, and amendments thereto.
(c)The fee shall be the only costs assessed in each case to services of the clerk of the supreme court. The clerk of the supreme court shall remit all revenues received from this section to the state treasurer, in accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215, and amendments thereto, for deposit in the state treasury. The fee shall be disbursed in accordance with K.S
