(a)Only attorneys licensed to practice law in Kansas and residing in the judicial district on or before the 15 th day of November preceding the election of a lawyer member of the district judicial nominating commission, and for whom the roster of attorneys licensed to practice law in Kansas contains the information enumerated in K.S.A. 2024 Supp. 25-2309(b)(1) through (5), and amendments thereto, shall be entitled to make nominations or receive and cast ballots in such elections.
(b)On or before the 20 th day of November preceding the election of a lawyer member of the district judicial nominating commission, the clerk of the supreme court shall transmit a certified copy of the roster of attorneys licensed to practice law in Kansas to the secretary of state.
