§ 20-163 — Official station, justices and court of appeals judges
(a)The official station of each justice of the supreme court and judge of the court of appeals shall be the county seat of the county where the justice or judge maintains an actual abode in which the justice or judge customarily lives.
(b)The chief judge of the judicial district in which a justice of the supreme court or judge of the court of appeals has the justice's or judge's official station, shall provide suitable office space upon request by the justice or judge for use by the justice or judge and the justice's or judge's staff personnel. Such office space shall be in or adjacent to the district court courtrooms and offices at the official station of the justice or judge.
