In addition to the powers granted in K.S.A. 19-2106 to 19-2116, both sections inclusive, the board of county commissioners of any such county is hereby authorized to receive grants of federal funds made available for the purpose of acquiring a site for, and the building, equipping and furnishing of a home for the aged or for any one or more of such purposes: Provided, That such grants of federal funds may be used in addition or as a part thereof to the maximum amount stated in the resolution establishing the levy or original petition requesting the election for the establishment and maintenance of such home for the aged.
