(a)A foreign covered entity may cancel its registration by filing with the secretary of state a certificate of cancellation executed by an authorized person, together with a fee if authorized by law, as provided by K.S.A. 17-7910, and amendments thereto, and the business entity information report and required fee. The certificate of cancellation shall state that the foreign covered entity surrenders its authority to transact business in the state of Kansas and withdraws therefrom. The certificate of cancellation shall provide the address to which the secretary of state may mail any process against the foreign covered entity that may be served upon the secretary of state.
