Articles of incorporation, amendment, consolidation, merger, conversion or dissolution, when executed and accompanied by such affidavits as required by applicable provisions of the renewable energy electric generation cooperative act, shall be presented to the secretary of state for filing in the records of the secretary's office. If the secretary of state finds that the articles presented conform to the requirements of the renewable energy electric generation cooperative act, the secretary, upon the payment of the fees provided by the renewable energy electric generation cooperative act, shall file such articles in the records of the secretary's office.
