Text
(a)One or more natural persons, each of whom is licensed to render the same type of professional service within this state, may incorporate a professional corporation to practice that same type of professional service by filing articles of incorporation with the secretary of state. The articles of incorporation shall set forth as its purpose the type of professional service to be practiced through the professional corporation and shall otherwise meet the requirements of the general corporation code of the state of Kansas. A certificate by the regulating board of the profession involved that each of the incorporators is duly licensed to practice that profession, and that the proposed corporate name has been approved, shall be filed in the office of the secretary of state prior to issuance
