Text
(a)The district cemetery association shall have all the authority now provided by law for cemetery associations and corporations which shall specifically include but shall not be limited to the authorities granted by K.S.A. 17-1302, 17-1311, 17-1312, 17-1319, 17-1320 and 17-1321, and amendments thereto. The cemetery of such district association shall be and remain a public cemetery.
(b)The board of directors of such district is hereby authorized to issue general obligation bonds of the district for the purpose of acquiring additional land for cemetery purposes in the manner herein provided. Before any such bonds shall be issued, the board shall adopt a resolution declaring its intention to issue such bonds, stating the purpose for which the bonds are to be issued and the amount thereof.
