Text

In addition to the powers and duties conferred upon it elsewhere in this chapter, the commission shall have full power and authority to do all acts necessary or reasonably incident to carrying out the purposes of this chapter including, but not in limitation thereof, the following:

(1)To sue and be sued collectively in the name of the "____________________ Automated Transit District".
(2)To adopt ordinances to protect all property owned, operated, or managed by the commission.
(3)To incur indebtedness in the name of the district in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
(4)To adopt administrative procedures and regulations.
(5)To acquire property, real, personal or mixed by deed, purchase, lease, condemnation or otherwise and dispose of the same for automated transit purposes
