Text

If the lands acquired for the improvement or any part of it are secured by purchase or contract, the payment shall be made according to the terms of the contract. If lands are taken by condemnation, the amount of damages assessed shall be paid or tendered within ninety (90) days after the final determination of the condemnation proceedings, or as soon thereafter as the funds arising from the bonds and the assessment of benefits are available. The title to the lands, or that portion paid for or otherwise acquired for these purposes, then vests in the city.
