(a)Any provision of this chapter in conflict with the Interstate Commerce Act of the United States or any other federal law or regulations governing transportation by common carrier is void, but all other provisions of this chapter shall be given effect if possible, without the provision or provisions so voided.
(b)The board may eliminate service or reduce levels of service for the transportation of passengers or property only after obtaining approval by the Indiana department of transportation.
