Text
(a)Before January 1 of each year, the district
shall certify to the Indiana department of transportation that the district
has taken action to provide financial responsibility against liability of
the district under any agreement with a commuter transportation
system.
(b)Proof of financial responsibility under this section may be
established by proof that:
(1)a liability insurance policy is in force; or
(2)a self-insurance program is in effect.
(c)The district shall participate, if feasible, in the programs
established by the political subdivision risk management commission
under IC 27-1-29.
