Text
(a)A department contract that specifies
borrow or clearing and grubbing must require the contractor to conform
to the department's manual of standard specifications and must include
standards for the following:
(1)Borrow pit back-slopes.
(2)Control of drainage water.
(3)Degree of restoration.
(b)Restoration of borrow areas and disposal areas must meet or
exceed the standards for seeding and sodding of roadside areas.
(c)Final cleanup provisions of the contract apply to the removal and
disposal of perishable materials and debris from the highway
right-of-way to an off-road site.
