§ 8-23-9-36 — Claims against contractors; certificates of filing of actions

Upon the filing of an action under section 34
of this chapter, the person, firm, limited liability company, or
corporation filing the action shall procure from the clerk of the court
where filed a certificate under the seal of the court that an action has
been filed with the date of filing and the names of the parties. The
certificate shall be within five (5) days after the date of filing the action
forwarded by the person, firm, limited liability company, or corporation
to the department.
