§ 8-23-7-5 — Notice to owners; delivery
The department shall give written notice to the
owners of property described in section 4 of this chapter that the
department intends to acquire the real property or rights for highway
purposes. The notice may be served in person or sent by certified mail
to the owners of the property at the address shown on the tax records
of the county.
