Text
If:
(1)the department determines the location of a state highway; and
(2)the location of the highway requires the department to acquire
real property, easements in real property, or rights in real
property;
the department may prepare a metes and bounds or other description of
the property or rights to be acquired. The description shall be filed in
the office of the recorder in the county in which the real property is
located.
