§ 8-23-4-8 — Changes in location of state highways

The department may change the location of a state highway for the following reasons:

(1)To reduce the length of the highway.
(2)To eliminate steep grades or sharp turns.
(3)To widen narrow parts.
(4)To promote public convenience and safety.
