§ 8-23-32-4 — "Owner"
As used in this chapter, "owner" means a person in whose name a motor vehicle is registered under any of the following:
(1)IC 9-18.1.
(2)The law of another state.
(3)The law of a foreign country.
(4)The International Registration Plan.
