Text
(a)A person who violates section 4, 5, or 6
of this chapter commits a Class C infraction. Whenever the department
discovers or is given written notice of a violation by a responsible
government agency, the department shall give thirty (30) days notice,
by certified mail, to the owner of the property upon which the violation
exists. If the owner fails to act within thirty (30) days, then each day of
maintenance of the violation beginning on the thirty-first day
constitutes a separate offense.
(b)A person who violates section 7 of this chapter commits a Class
C infraction.
(c)A person who violates section 8 of this chapter commits a Class
B misdemeanor. Whenever the department discovers or is given written
notice of a violation by a responsible government agency, the
