Text
If the department determines that the
topography of the land adjoining a highway in the interstate or primary
system will not permit adequate screening of a junkyard or scrap metal
processing facility, or that the screening of a junkyard or facility would
not be economically feasible, the department may acquire the property
on which the junkyard or facility stands by gift, purchase, exchange, or
condemnation. The department may pay the costs of relocation,
removal, or disposal of a junkyard or facility.
