§ 8-23-2-2 — Commissioner; appointment; compensation
(a)The governor shall appoint a commissioner
who is responsible for organizing and administering the department.
(b)The commissioner:
(1)serves at the pleasure of the governor; and
(2)is entitled to receive compensation set by the budget agency.
