Text
(a)In lieu of the amount determined under
section 16 of this chapter, the agency may make a payment to the
displaced person in an amount necessary to enable the person to make
a down payment on the purchase of an adequate replacement dwelling,
not in excess of two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500).
(b)In addition to any payment payable under subsection (a), the
agency shall pay reasonable expenses incurred by the displaced person
for evidence of title, recording fees, and other closing costs incidental
to the purchase of the replacement dwelling, but not including prepaid
expenses.
