Text
A displaced person eligible for payments
under section 13 of this chapter who is displaced from a dwelling and
who elects to accept the payments authorized by this section in lieu of
the payments authorized by section 13 may receive a moving expense
allowance and a dislocation allowance determined according to a
schedule established by the agency head. The schedule may establish
a graduated scale of payments based upon size or kind of business or
farm operation, size of dwelling, number of persons in family, or other
appropriate factors. Except as provided in section 12(1) of this chapter,
the payment shall not exceed a moving expense allowance of three
hundred dollars ($300) and a dislocation allowance of two hundred
dollars ($200).
