Text
A member, agent, or employee of the
department who knowingly is interested in any contract with the
department or in the sale of any property, either real or personal, to the
department commits a Class A misdemeanor. All such contracts are
void. This section does not apply to contracts for purchases of property,
real or personal, between the department and other departments,
municipalities, or subdivisions of state government.
