Text
The bureau of motor vehicles may not register
or license a motor bus, truck, tractor, trailer, or semitrailer used or
intended to be used for hire by the owner whenever the law requires the
owner to obtain a permit or certificate of convenience and necessity
from the department until the department furnishes the bureau of motor
vehicles with an instrument.
