Text

(a)Whenever the authority shall construct or acquire a bridge under authority of section 2 of this chapter, and a substantial part of the cost of such construction or acquisition is contributed by:
(1)the government of the United States or any agency thereof;
(2)another state;
(3)any agency or authority existing under the laws of any other state; or
(4)any political or municipal subdivision thereof or any public corporation thereof; then the authority is authorized to pay the share of the entire cost of such purchase or acquisition to be borne by it or by the state of Indiana from the Indiana interstate bridge fund. Any such bridge may be operated as a free bridge without the imposition of any tolls for the use thereof and no reimbursement need be made to the fund.
