Subject to IC 8-9.5-8-8, the authority is authorized to issue from time to time its bridge revenue bonds for the purpose of reimbursing, in whole or in part, the Indiana interstate bridge fund and any other fund or funds of the state, for sums disbursed for the construction, acquisition, enlargement, extension, or improvement of a bridge under this chapter or for such purpose in combination with any one (1) or more of the purposes authorized by section 14 of this chapter. Such bonds shall be issued in the manner, shall be of the character, and shall be secured and paid as set out in section 14 of this chapter.
