Text

(a)A public entity may dedicate any property interest that it has for public use as a qualifying project if the public entity finds that dedication of the property interest will serve the public purpose of this article. In connection with the dedication, a public entity may convey any property interest that the public entity has to the operator, subject to the:
(1)conditions imposed by general law governing conveyances; and
(2)provisions of this article; for the consideration that the public entity considers appropriate.
(b)Consideration for a transfer under this section may include an agreement with the operator to develop, finance, or operate the qualifying project. The property interests that the public entity may convey to the operator in connection with a dedication under this sec
