Text

Each port or project, as defined in section 2 of this chapter, when constructed and placed in operation shall be maintained and kept in good condition and repair by the ports of Indiana. Each such project shall also be policed and operated by such force of police, tolltakers, and other operating employees as the ports of Indiana may in its discretion employ. All public or private property damaged or destroyed in carrying out the powers granted by this chapter shall be restored or repaired and placed in its original condition as nearly as practicable or adequate compensation made therefor out of funds provided under the authority of this chapter.
