Text

This section applies to a municipality that:

(1)after December 31, 2012, adopts a regulatory ordinance that establishes a service territory that is smaller than the regulated territory; and
(2)either:
(A)amends the ordinance described in subdivision (1); or
(B)adopts a new ordinance; to establish a service territory that is larger than the service territory described in subdivision (1). Before an ordinance described in subdivision (2) may take effect, the municipality shall submit the ordinance to the commission for approval under section 9 of this chapter.
