§ 8-1-34-8 — "Local franchise"
As used in this chapter, "local franchise" means an initial authorization, or a renewal of an authorization, that:
(1)is issued by a unit before July 1, 2006; and
(2)authorizes the construction or operation of a video service
system in a designated service area in the unit.
