§ 8-1-30.8-6 — Independent verification; results submitted to authority

(a) The results of:
(1) the audit performed by a water utility under section 5 of this
chapter during calendar year 2020; and
(2) the audit performed by a water utility under section 5 of this
chapter during each even-numbered calendar year after 2020;
must be verified by an independent evaluator who is not employed by
the water utility except for purposes of the evaluation of audits under
this section.
(b) The results of an audit performed by a water utility under section
5 of this chapter during an even-numbered calendar year, as verified by
an independent evaluator under subsection (a), must be submitted to
the authority by August 1 of the year during which the audit is
performed.
