§ 8-1-26-4 — "Damage"
As used in this chapter, "damage" means:
(1)the substantial weakening of structural or lateral support of an
underground facility;
(2)the penetration or destruction of a protective coating, a
housing, or another protective device of an underground facility;
(3)the partial or complete severance of an underground facility;
or
(4)rendering any underground facility inaccessible.
