Text
As used in this chapter, "telephone company" means:
(1)any natural person, firm, association, corporation, or
partnership, owning, leasing, or operating any lines, facilities, or
systems used in the furnishing of telephone service; and
(2)any common carrier or carrier as those terms are defined in
Title IV of the ADA.
