1.In addition to the other powers specified
by this chapter and notwithstanding IC 8-1.5-3-1, the board of directors
for utilities has all rights and powers conferred on a municipally owned
utility by IC 8-1.5-3-4(b), IC 8-1.5-3-6, and IC 8-1.5-3-7. Furthermore,
the board of directors for utilities shall operate as both the board and
the municipal legislative body for the purposes of IC 8-1.5-3-8.
