Any revenue obligations issued pursuant to the provisions of this chapter shall be eligible investments for the funds of any kind or character of every financial institution, insurance company or private trust, and such obligations shall be eligible for deposit by any financial institution, insurance company or trustee under any law of this state providing for the deposit of securities or funds.
