Text

(a)The state police department may assist the commission in conducting background investigations of applicants for a vendor's license. The commission may forward all fingerprints required to be submitted by license applicants under this chapter to the Federal Bureau of Investigation or any other agency for the purpose of screening applicants. The commission shall reimburse the state police department for the costs incurred by the state police department as a result of the assistance. The commission shall make the payment from fees collected from applicants.
(b)The commission through its gaming agents shall conduct background investigations of applicants. Costs incurred conducting the investigations must be paid from fees collected from applicants.
