Text
(a)The commission may:
(1)cause to be issued an annual license in writing for holding
boxing, sparring, or unarmed combat matches or exhibitions to
any person who is qualified under this chapter; and
(2)adopt rules to establish the qualifications of the applicants.
(b)In addition to a general license, a person must, before
conducting any particular boxing, sparring, or unarmed combat match
or exhibition where one (1) or more contests are to be held, obtain a
permit from the commission.
(c)Annual licenses may be revoked or suspended by the
commission upon hearing and proof that any holder of an annual
license has violated this chapter or any rule or order of the commission.
(d)A person who knowingly, recklessly, or intentionally conducts
a boxing, sparring, or unarmed combat match or
