§ 4-33-11-3 — Suspension of license; required suspension of operations by operating agent; revocation of license
(a)The commission may:
(1)suspend a license issued to the owner of a riverboat; or
(2)require an operating agent to suspend operations;
without notice or hearing if the commission determines that the safety
or health of patrons or employees would be threatened by the continued
operation of the riverboat.
(b)The suspension of an owner's license or an operating agent's
operations under this section may remain in effect until the commission
determines that the cause for suspension has been abated. The
commission may revoke the license if the commission determines that
the owner or operating agent has not made satisfactory progress toward
abating the hazard.
