§ 4-31-7-7 — Televised simulcasts
(a)As used in this section, "live racing day"
means a day on which at least eight (8) live horse races are conducted.
(b)Upon request by a permit holder from time to time, the
commission may authorize the permit holder to conduct pari-mutuel
wagering at the permit holder's racetrack on televised simulcasts of
horse races from other racetracks in Indiana or in other states or
countries where horse racing and wagering are permitted by law. In
addition, the commission may authorize the permit holder to conduct
pari-mutuel wagering at the permit holder's racetrack on races from
racetracks that have entered into a simulcasting contract with the
permit holder even if the races are conducted during a time when the
permit holder's racetrack is not open. The commission may adopt rules
