Text
"Veterinarian" means a veterinary practitioner who:
(1)either:
(A)holds a license or a special permit issued by the Indiana
board of veterinary medical examiners to practice veterinary
medicine in Indiana; or
(B)is:
(i)exempt from the licensing and special permit requirements
of IC 25-38.1-3 (as described in IC 25-38.1-3-1(b)); and
(ii)appointed by the commission under IC 4-31-12-6(a)(1) to
take or supervise the taking of biological samples; and
(2)is authorized by the holder of a permit to practice at a
racetrack.
