(a)Each development committee consists of
three (3) members appointed as follows:
(1)One (1) member appointed by the governor, who shall chair
the committee.
(2)Two (2) members appointed by the governor.
(b)The members of each development committee must be residents
of Indiana who are knowledgeable in horse breeding and racing. No
more than two (2) members of each development committee may be
members of the same political party.
(c)For a member to be eligible for an appointment and to continue
to serve on a development committee under subsection (a), the member
must hold a valid current license issued by the commission.
