Text

A prize may not be paid to a person who is less than eighteen (18) years of age unless the winning ticket was lawfully purchased and made a gift to the minor. In that case the commission shall direct the payment to an adult member of the minor's family or the legal guardian of the minor as custodian for the minor. The person named as guardian has the same powers and duties as prescribed for a guardian under Indiana guardianship law.
