Text
(a)A state agency that receives federal funds
must develop, in coordination with the budget agency, a comprehensive
federal assistance review plan that does all of the following:
(1)Evaluates how Indiana could use federal funds more
effectively without federal constraints, including an evaluation of
opportunities for interagency collaboration.
(2)Identifies federal constraints, mandates, and regulations that
prevent Indiana from using federal assistance more effectively.
(3)Identifies specific recommendations to use federal funds more
effectively in the manner identified in subdivision (1).
(b)A state agency subject to subsection (a) must submit a
comprehensive federal assistance review plan to the budget agency
before November 1 of each odd-numbered year.
