Text
Payments to the Pokagon Indiana Education Fund shall be made as follows:
(1)An initial allocation of one million dollars ($1,000,000) shall
be made by the Band to the Pokagon Indiana Education Fund for
the first full Payment Period from the Band's annual payment due
under IC 4-29.5-17-2.
(2)In all subsequent years, the Band shall make an allocation to
the Pokagon Indiana Education Fund from the Band's annual
payment due under IC 4-29.5-17-2 in an amount equal to one
million dollars ($1,000,000) less the balance of the Pokagon
Indiana Education Fund as of the conclusion of the Payment
Period just ended and adjusted by the amount of any payments
that were determined to not be in compliance with this chapter
according to the most recent annual audit.
