§ 4-24-1-1 — Damage to personal property
Indiana·Art. 24 INSTITUTIONS─GENERAL PROVISIONS·Ch. 1 Compensation of Employees for Damages to Personal
The warden of any state penal or correctional
institution or of any state institution (as defined by IC 12-7-2-184) may
compensate any employee of the institution for damages to the personal
property of the employee which damages occurred in the ordinary
course of the employees' employment and which damages were in no
way caused by the negligence of the employee.
