(a)The Indiana historical bureau is established
as a division of the library.
(b)It is the duty of the historical bureau to edit and publish
documentary and other material relating to the history of the state of
Indiana and to promote the study of Indiana history.
(c)As appropriate, the historical bureau shall work with the Indiana
historical society, the county historical societies, and any other person,
agency, or organization concerned with Indiana history.
