Text

(a)The board shall appoint a director to be the chief administrative officer of the state library.
(b)To qualify for the position of director, a person must:
(1)be a graduate of a college or university of recognized standing;
(2)have had special training in the technique and organization of library service; and
(3)possess such other qualifications as the board, in its discretion, may deem necessary. As added by Acts 1981, P.L.40, SEC.7. Amended by P.L.100-2012, SEC.8; P.L.13-2013, SEC.7.
