Text
A person who damages or loses a book,
document, plaque, marker, or sign belonging to the department is liable
for triple damages. If the book that is damaged or lost is one (1) volume
of a set, the person is liable for the whole set, but upon paying the
replacement cost of the set, the person may take the broken set. All
money received under this section shall be deposited in the state library
publications fund.
